Local Recycling Collection Celebrates America Recycles Day

MONROE -- If you were looking for a place to dispose of old T.V.'s, electronics or
tires Saturday was the day to be at the Public Safety Center in Monroe.
America Recycles Day 2012 took place today to help clean-up parts of Monroe.
People from across the area brought traditional recycling items, like card board, plastic and paper.
All in the name of saving mother earth.
The yearly event was made possible by keep Monroe beautiful and keep Ouachita Parish beautiful.
