Update: The Amber Alert for a missing 11-year-old Texas girl has been canceled
after the girl was found safe Tuesday afternoon in Trinity County, TX.

An Amber Alert has been issued to help find a Texas girl police say was taken by her mother.
Trinity County sheriff's deputies said Savannah Hurley was taken by her biological mother, Shelly Jean Hurley, when Children's Protective Services went to remove the girl from her mother's custody.
Savannah is white, about 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.
The two are believed to be in a 1996 maroon Subaru Legacy. The vehicle has Alabama plates numbered 48738AZ.
