This is the scene of downtown El Dorado with businesses taking part in the Christmas spirit by adorning their shops with lights and decorations. And with Black Friday approaching, some store owners say that there is one thing that will separate them from some of the larger stores this Friday.
"It's all about customer service. When a customer comes through the door, we try and make them feel like their the most important customer."
To accommodate all of the customers this Friday, wreaths and more store co-owner Martha Barrios and her team have already made preparations.
"We always hire extra help on hand to be able to assist them in whatever they need to do."
Barrios says she prefers to shop locally during the holiday season and says her store will make it appealing for others to do the same.
"I'm all about shopping locally, that's why we try and make it so much easier and convenient for our shoppers on Black Friday."
More importantly, Barrios says she keeps the real meaning of the season at the forefront.
"We try and keep Christ in the middle of Christmas because without him, we would have nothing."
