Monroe Tree Lighting Ceremony

Mayor Jamie Mayo and the Monroe
City Council are pleased to announce the City of Monroe Annual
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be 6 pm Saturday, December 1, in
the Monroe Civic Center Plaza.
The entire family is invited to enjoy holiday music from the J.S. Clark Elementary School Choir; and, the 2012 ULM Greek Song Fest winners Iota Phi Theta Fraternity with a special group from Neville High School. FREE Cookies and Drinks will be served.
Mayor Jamie Mayo, members of the Monroe City Council, Miss Monroe 2012-13 Lauren Ford, Miss Monroe's Outstanding Teen 2012-13 Macie McCoy, and others will be in attendance. Plus, Santa will ride in on a Monroe Fire Engine with candy for the kids!
