South Arkansas Woman Fatally Hit by a Car

According to the Arkansas State Police, 51-year-old Melinda Taylor was hit by a car Monday night while attempting to walk across Highway 7 at Sumac Road in Smackover.
Authorities say Taylor died at the scene.
No other injuries occurred from the accident.
