New Prosecutor Coming to South Arkansas

Attorney Ian Vickery of El Dorado will be replacing current prosecuting attorney Robin Caroll in Arkansas' 13th Judicial District.
Governor Mike Beebe appointed Vickery for the position.
Vickery tells NBC10 News what his plans are as the incoming prosecutor.
"I think the governor said it best last summer when he said that there are really two kinds of criminals that are in this state. One is the one that everybody is afraid of and the others are really just figure out an alternative solution to prison is and I'm going to continue to pursue those efforts."
Arkansas 13th Judicial District covers 6 counties.
Vickery will take office in January.
