Officers Respond to Stabbing in Monroe

MONROE -- This morning, Monroe Police Officers responded to a Stabbing at a residence in the 3800 block of Halsell St.
The female victim reported being in an argument with another female over an air compressor.
During the argument, a knife was produced by one of the women and the victim was stabbed.
The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening stab wound to the hand.
The suspect was identified as Debra Holmes 42, a.k.a. Heavy Duty.
Holmes fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.
Anyone having knowledge on the location of Holmes is urged to call CrimeStoppers 318-388-CASH.
