First Lady Supriya Jindal made a special stop in Monroe Tuesday.
She handed out Christmas ornaments to residents at Christus St. Joseph's home on Sterlington road.
The ornaments were created by children from across Louisiana
"If you have the time to go out, thank the people and wish them a Merry Christmas"
The First Lady also visited students at Lexington elementary in Monroe
