Police have identified human remains found in La Salle Parish.
Investigators say Dorothy Eyvonne Rosier's body was discovered by hunters on November 21st.
The 25-year-old woman disappeared nearly three years ago.
Police used dental records and clues at the scene to determine the victim's identity.
Authorities are hoping the find will bring closure to Rosier's family.
"Whenever a missing person is still missing there's always hope that they're somewhere out there living a good life. Now we've discovered that she is deceased and that is closure but it's sadness also for the family" said Lt. Tommy Carnline of the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.
Investigators aren't saying much about what they found at the scene, how Rosier died, or named any possible suspects to avoid hindering the investigation.
