Louisiana Marine Killed in Combat Operations in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Michael J. Guillory, 28, of Pearl River, La., died Friday, December 14, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
He was assigned to 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Pendleton, California.
This incident is under investigation.
