Camden, AR Encouragement Cards Going to Newtown

CAMDEN, AR -- The Camden Lion's Club is organizing a drive to collect cards for the victim's loved ones to let them know that the city is thinking of them and holding them in their prayers.

There are several drop off locations in Camden, including Chad Canada's Insurance, Judy's Flowers, Catherine's Bistro, Waggin Tails, Victory Church, and Dan Cooks.

Lion Club members say the cards are a small way to express their love to the folks in Newtown.

"It is a time of giving and I think at least we can give them some encouragement and that's where this started out."  

 The cards will be mailed this Thursday and officials say that the Camden Lion's club will take care of the monetary donation so you don't have to put money in your card.
