Sharmeka Moffitt Now Listed In Good Condition

Sharmeka Moffitt, the woman who claimed she was attacked and burned in a Winnsboro park in October, has now been listed in good condition, according to LSU Shreveport.
Moffitt called 911 from Civitan Park on the night of October 21 to report she had been attacked and set afire by three men wearing white t-shirt hoodies.
She was transported to LSU Shreveport with burns covering 60 percent of her body.
Later, investigators said Moffitt made up her claims that she was set on fire by three men.
Police say DNA evidence collected at the scene show no other people were at the scene where Moffitt claimed to be attacked.
It was reported later that she might face criminal charges.
Mack Lancaster, District Attorney for the 5th Judicial District, says he'll wait for case reports from all police agencies involved in the investigation before deciding if charges will be filed against Sharmeka Moffitt.
Moffitt could also be held responsible for the cost of the investigation.
