Two Children Die in Ascension Parish Fire

Two small children are dead after a fire in a mobile home in Ascension Parish.
The fire started just before midnight in the community of Darrow.
The Mother and two other children did escape this blaze.
The Fire Marshal's Office and the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office are jointly investigating this tragic fire. At this time the fire is still being actively investigated.
There were no working smoke alarms in the home.
