Warhawks Merchandise Flies Off Shelves in Prep for Independence Bowl

MONROE -- Warhawks T-shirts and sweaters were the target items in the quest for merchandise as fans swooped up last minute items for tomorrow's Fridays' Independence Bowl.
Employees say the sales received from the merchandise sales has increased the popularity of the bookstore and they're seeing lots of new faces.
The bookstore will open at 8 o'clock Friday morning for last minute shoppers and will close at noon. Independence Bowl game starts at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon in Shreveport.
