Beekman Jr. High School Charter Vote Tuesday

The Morehouse Parish School Board is scheduled to vote Tuesday night whether or not to allow Beekman Junior High School to become a charter school.
If the board votes in favor of the change, it will still need to be approved by a federal judge due to the school district's desegregation order.
If the board votes to reject the change, the group pushing for the charter can seek approval from BESE.
The board meets at 5:30p
