Police Searching for Stabbing Suspect

MONROE -- Monroe Police are looking for the suspect in a stabbing at apartments in Monroe.
Around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, police say they were dispatched to Parkview Apartments on Richwood Road.
Police say two females were involved in a fight over a vehicle. During the fight, police say one of the women pulled out a knife and cut the other woman on the back of her neck.
The woman with the knife fled the area and police are still looking for her. The other woman was treated at the scene by paramedics for her minor neck injury, but refused to go to a hospital.
The investigation is ongoing at this time as the suspect is sought.
