With Dr. Barbara Hanson selection as the new Chancellor at Delta Community College, Dr. Jerry Ryan will return to work for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System.
Dr. Ryan will take on the role of Vice President for Strategic Initiatives. We're told Dr. Ryan will assist economic development and civic engagement projects. He'll report to Dr. Joe May, President of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System.
In the meantime, Margie Mixon, Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs will manage the day-to-day operations at Delta.
Dr. Hanson will assume her role as Chancellor on January 28.
