Keana Barnes escaped from the facility in the early-morning hours of Jan. 1.
The reward for information leading to her recapture stands at $5,000.
The photos show Barnes holding a portable CD player walking in a gray hooded-sweatshirt and T-shirt, sweatpants and tennis shoes. She has short hair in the photos.
Authorities said Thursday that Barnes was given a ride to downtown New Orleans last week, and multiple sightings have been reported of her in New Orleans and Marrero.
Investigators said she is getting help in avoiding authorities.
Anyone helping Barnes will be arrested and prosecuted, the Department of Corrections said.
Barnes was described by police as a 33-year-old African-American woman, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, and has dark brown eyes and very short hair.
She has the letter "K" tattooed on her left hand, a dragon tattoo on her back and two panther tattoos on her chest.
