Monroe Police Investigating Weekend Burglaries

MONROE -- Monroe Police are investigating a home invasion in the 100 block of Rowan Circle.

On Friday police say an unknown suspect knocked on the door and as the victim opened the door, without asking who was there, the suspect pushed open the door with gun in hand.

The suspect stole two cell phones and ran off.

The victim was not injured. The crime remains under investigation.

Monroe Police responded to a Burglary in the 500 Blk of Sherrouse. Unknown suspect or suspects kicked in a door to the residence to gain entry.

Once inside, they removed a 32 inch Samsung TV.

On Friday, Monroe Police responded to an Attempted Burglary in the 1800 block of Laymen St.

A suspect attempted to kick in the door A witness saw the suspect kicking on the door. When the suspect noticed he was being watched, he fled on foot.

On Sunday, Monroe Police responded Burglary at 2900 block of Seal.

Unknown suspects broke out the front door glass entering the residence.

Once inside, the suspects removed a unknown name brand 42 in flatscreen TV and an unknown name brand 27 inch flatscreen TV.
