Bastrop High School Student Arrested

A Bastrop High School student is arrested and accused of bringing a gun to school.
Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Deputies have charged 17-year-old Pearce Frazier with illegally carrying a firearm on school campus
A school resource officer at Batrop HS was informed by someone of a student with a gun on campus.
Two deputies and school officials located Frazier in a classroom. He was searched and deputies say they found a loaded .45 caliber magazine in his pocket. Deputies say he also had a pistol.
He was taken to Morehouse Parish jail. Bond is expected to be set today.
Officials say the 17 year old had no intentions of hurting anyone.
