Monroe PD Arrest One for Attempted Murder, Another On the Loose

MONROE -- Monroe Police detectives have made an arrest in connection to a shooting earlier this month, but the other suspect is still on the loose.

Police arrested 19-year old Byrd Ennis Greely for Attempted Second Degree Murder in connection with a shooting at a local Monroe retail store back on January 9th.

A warrant has been issued for a second suspect, Larry D. Mitchell, also 19-years old, for Attempted Second Degree Murder.

Mitchell is described as being a black male, approximately 5'9" tall and 160 pounds.

Mitchell should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone having information about Mitchell's location is urged to call the Monroe Police Department or Crime Stopppers of Ouachita at 388-2274(CASH).
