LifeShare Blood Centers in Need of Donors

A local blood supplier says its struggling to meet hospital stock orders and help is urgently needed.
LifeShare Blood Centers says the icy weather has forced the cancellations of several blood drives over the past few days, resulting in critically low blood supplies. This is especially true for "type o" blood.
You can also donate blood Monday through Friday from 8 a-m until 4:30 pm at 2909 Kilpatrick Boulevard in Monroe and in the Graham Shopping Center in Ruston.
In El Dorado, the location at 443 West Oak Streets is open on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 9 am until 5 pm.
