The world of agriculture came to life for young students Thursday.
The Ike Hamilton Expo Center hosted first and fourth graders from area schools to participate in "Ag Alley."
Kids get up close and personal with animals and machines used in farming.
They also learned about livestock, gardening, crops, and where different kinds of food and products come from.
The event was put on by the LSU Ag Center.
