Mississippi Man Killed in Madison Parish

A Mississippi man was killed Friday in a crash east of Tallulah. The crash happened just before 5 a.m. this morning.
Louisiana State Police say a 2005 GMC Envoy, driven by 84-year-old Glenn Fleming of Brandon, Mississippi, was traveling west on Interstate 20 in the right lane when a 2013 Freightliner Conventional 18-wheeler, driven by 22-year-old Crystal Holliday of Sumter, South Carolina, traveled into the path of the Envoy by entering the right lane from the shoulder. The Envoy struck the rear of the Freightliner.
Fleming was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison Parish Coroner's Office. Holliday did not report any injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash. Toxicology samples were obtained will be submitted for analysis. Holliday was cited with moving parked vehicles. The crash remains under investigation.
