ARKADELPHIA (KARK) -- The man accused of murdering two young girls and their step-father family inside their Arkadelphia home was in court on Friday.
Riakos Lizana entered a plea of not-guilty, but whether his attorney will continue through this case claiming Lizana didn't do it is still up in the air, as often times this first plea just provides more time to develop a case.
The 19-year-old Lizana was officially charged with three counts of capital murder for the crimes committed in early December.
According to Clark County authorities, a bloody palm print matching Lizana's was pulled from a crime scene, leading to his arrest.
He is accused in the killings of 40-year-old Bobby "Chino" Galbraith and his two step-daughters, 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield and her sister, 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield, who were found dead inside their home on Dec. 6.
The next time Lizana could appear in court is February for a motions hearing when prosecutors and Lizana's defense attorneys will update the judge on where their cases stand.
