Funeral plans are set for the two little girls that died in Monday's
house fire in West Monroe. Meanwhile donations are sought to help the
rest of the family recover from the fire.
Three year old Gwendolyn McMurry and 16 month old Emma McMurry lost their lives in the fire. Their father, Morgan McMurry, was injured in the fire.
If you would like to help the family, donations of household items are being accepted at Michael's Craft store in Monroe, the Monroe Civic Center, and Career Technical College.
A benefit account for people to donate to is also set up under the McMurry family, that's at the Chase Bank branch on 7th and Cypress Street.
Fire investigators say by Friday, they should have a determination on what caused the fire.
Funeral Plans Set:
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. The Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 at Soul's Harbor Church in West Monroe. The obituary is up on Kilpatrick's website.
