Driver Killed in Ouachita Parish Crash; Not Wearing Seatbelt

MONROE -- A Monroe man was killed in a crash late Saturday night on Louisiana Highway 15 south of Interstate 20.
Louisiana State Police say a 1996 GMC truck, driven by 50-year-old Stanley Kilcrease of Monroe, was traveling south on Louisiana Highway 15 when it ran off the right side of the road, slid sideways and struck a driveway.
The GMC then rolled several times before coming to rest on the passenger side.

Kilcrease was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the GMC. Kilcrease was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ouachita Parish Coroner's Office.
Alcohol use is unknown. A toxicology sample was obtained and will be submitted for analysis.
Troop F has investigated 3 fatal crashes which have resulted in 3 deaths so far this year.
