6:30 p.m. Update:
A jury is seated in the Union County murder trial where a man is accused of killing his girlfriend.
Eli Hart is accused of killing Amanda Fory last June in Junction City.
Investigators say Fory was killed at Hart's home while two small children were present.
During opening statements Monday, prosecutors argued that Hart was drunk and agitated over an incident earlier in the day involving his truck when he shot and killed Fory.
His defense attorneys countered saying that the shooting was an accident and that Hart was handing Fory the gun when it went off.
The trial resumes Tuesday morning at the Union County Courthouse.
