Police: Burglar Steals Thousands Worth of Power Tools in Union Parish

FARMERVILLE -- The Union Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for a West Monroe woman who they say stole tools worth thousands of dollars.
Police worked a report of a burglary at a shop and vehicle located at a home on Fourway Loop Rd. in Farmerville.
Approximately $3,500 worth of hand tools and power tools were stolen. UPSO investigators learned that during the early morning hours of January 23, 35-year old April Rose of West Monroe, broke into the shop and vehicle and took the tools.
She then took the tools to an unknown location in West Monroe.
A warrant for two counts of Simple Burglary has been issued for Rose's arrest.
