Surveillance Pictures Released of Sexual Assault Suspect

Monroe Police have released surveillance pictures of the suspect they say maybe responsible for two sexual assaults.

The picture shows the suspect walking in front of a building.

The first assault was reported on January 18th.  According to Monroe Police a ULM student was forced at gun point to a location off campus where she was assaulted and then returned to campus.

This past Saturday, police worked an assault where the victim was forced into a residence and assaulted.  The suspect left the victim there and left in the victim's car.  Police recovered the car a short time later.

The suspect in both cases was described as a black male in his 20's, thin build, light to medium complexion, around 6 feet tall, a short hair cut, and a tattoo on neck and right hand.

Monroe Police say they have received several phone calls through CrimeStoppers and are following up on some leads.
