Weather Damage at UA Monticello

Updated: January 30, 2013

The University of Arkansas at Monticello will have to find a new way to cover their horse stables after last night's heavy wind blew the covering off.

The stables house the university's rodeo horses and university officials say it's a miracle that none of the horses were hurt after the wind knocked off the covering.

"Our students have a lot of money invested in these horses and they've been trained so it was a relief that none of the animals were injured."

The rodeo horses have been relocated to other parts of the campus for now until the university decides on what their going to do about another facility for the horses.
