Have some fun! Sign-up now for the Annual Mardi Gras Gumbo Cook-off, on February 2, 2013. The event takes place on Trenton Street, West Monroe, LA. There are two ways to participate, you can either compete in the cooking contest or be part of the People's Choice Awards.
People's Choice Awards are a great way to try some fabulous gumbo and help a local nonprofit agency, ARCO, A Community Resource. You buy a tasting cup for $3 and make your way to the competitor's tables and then vote for your favorite.
