El Dorado Rape Conviction

On Thursday a Union County jury found 27-year-old Nicholas Burris guilty of rape and residential burglary in a 2010 case against a woman living in El Dorado.
The jury was able to reach a decision after the prosecution proved DNA evidence from Burris matched the victim's.
Burris was sentenced to 15 years for rape and 20 years for residential burglary.
