Rayville Police Search for Kidnapping Suspect

Rayville police are searching for a suspect they say was involved in the kidnapping and beating of a Rayville woman.
Investigators say 31-year-old Howard Green held a woman in her home and beat her repeatedly for about 36 hours last week.
Authorities say Green and an accomplice then took the victim to a hospital in Monroe for treatment of her injuries. Police have already arrested Marcus Jones and Christopher Ross as accessories in the crime.
Green is wanted for aggravated battery, kidnapping and violating a protection order. Anyone with information on Green's whereabouts is asked to call the Rayville Police Department at 728-4431.
