El Dorado Honors Arkansas Highway Commisioner with a Send Off

The El Dorado Country Club hosted a send off for Arkansas Highway Commissioner Madison Murphy.
Murphy just finished serving the 10 year tenure that is required for the position.
Hundreds of people and businesses filled the room to show their appreciation for Murphy's service.
Murphy explains to NBC 10 News how he feels about the recognition.
"I'm touched that the community of El Dorado would bother to honor me or put this event on. I'm really humbled by it and very touched."
Murphy says that now that his term as the Arkansas Highway Commissioner is done, he will resume other projects.
