Man Arrested for Video Voyeurism at Local Stores

WEST MONROE -- A man is in jail after being accused of trying to take inappropriate photographs of a woman at a store without her knowledge.
A video voyeurism complaint was filed on February 2 against 25-year old Williams Tyler Webb Jr. According to the police report, the victim said while she was shopping at Walmart, Webb came in behind her, squatted and then took pictures or video under her skirt without her permission.
After the victim gave a description of the suspect, store video surveillance captured the event, the suspect, and his vehicle.
According to the police report, it was very obvious what the man was doing.
Once caught, Webb was positively identified by the victim in a photographic lineup. Webb was arrested at a West Monroe store in 2007, after a complaint was filed about him following girls around the store.
The police report says an investigation in Ruston about a year ago alleges Webb photographing or videoing underneath a victim's skirt.
Monroe Police are investigating Webb for the same offense at Target within the past couple of weeks.
The report says when Webb was arrested, he refused to make any statement in this matter.
He's in OCC with a $15,000 bond.
