Delta Sigma Theta Sorority: Mardi Gras Gala

Monroe Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is sponsoring its annual 24th scholarship fundraising event - a Mardi Gras Gala. The purpose of this event is to provide more scholastic assistantships to deserving students within the area. Students are faced with many challenges upon entering college and financial burdens rank high among these challenges. The scholastic assistantships awarded to these young people will help to meet some of their financial obligations while they are preparing for lifelong careers.
The Mardi Gras Gala will be taking place on Saturday, February 16th from 8pm-12pm at the Monroe Civic Center B. D. Robinson Conference Hall. The cost of a general admission ticket is $30 or corporate tables of eight are available for purchase as well.
