Help Needed in South Arkansas for Woman Battling Serious Illness

Mike Oliver was in El Dorado today selling cookies on Northwest Avenue to raise money for his wife Maria battling a rare thyroid condition.
She was diagnosed with the disease 6 years ago and it has slowly taken over her body.
Oliver says that he needs to raise 20 thousand dollars for her medical expenses and says anything the community can do will help.
"People researching seeing what they can do, any kind of help right now is a god send," he said.
