The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce has partnered with MyWants Inc. and its business and media divisions to offer a series of "Get Web Smart" seminars for you and your business.

Through a generous donation of service from MyWants Inc., the Chamber is able to offer these seminars free to WMWO Chamber members and only $10 to non-members. The Chamber of Commerce and MyWants Inc. have scheduled a seminar once per quarter in 2013.

The first seminar of this year will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from noon to 1 p.m. on "Starting and Utilizing LinkedIn for Business." This "lunch and learn" event will be held at the WMWO Chamber of Commerce Board Room at 112 Professional Drive in West Monroe. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own "brown bag" lunch, and the Chamber of Commerce will provide beverages.

This seminar will teach business owners, managers and entrepreneurs how to start utilizing LinkedIn for communication and marketing techniques. It will also teach you:
- Getting an account and profile started correctly on LinkedIn
- Connecting to build colleague and customer relationships
- Growing your business with engagement marketing

Reservations are required for attendance. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop to participate and learn live during all events. The seminar is free for WMWO Chamber members and $10 per non-chamber members. Send your registration by email to Tom McCandlish at  membership@westmonroechamber.org  or phone (318) 325-1961.
