Former City Engineer Indicted For Payroll Fraud

A Ouachita Parish Grand Jury formally handed down the indictment this morning. The charges stemmed from a 2011 audit by the Legislative Auditors office. That audit suggested that Morrison may have violated state law when she hired Ricardo Nance and paid him for work he may not have actually done.
Ricardo Nance was also indicted on one count of payroll fraud.
