Police also made one DWI arrest which involved a crash with no injuries.

Numerous juvenile complaints were made in the area of 2400 block of Desiard Street.  These consisted of fights which were dispersed by police with no major incidents.

Several juvenile arrests were made by Monroe Police for simple battery, theft of a cell phone, possession of marijuana, and drawing and displaying a firearm after the parade had concluded along Renwick Street.

The crowd was estimated to be near 20,000 persons in attendance.  The amount of floats and entries for this year's parade were nearly double the amount from last year's parade.  This did not lead to major problems and the parade was extended by approximately 40 minutes versus last year's parade.
