MONROE -- On Thursday March 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Monroe Public Safety Center, the Monroe Police Training Division will be providing a free Community Safety Seminar titled "Driving Tips that could Save Your Life".
The target audience is drivers of all ages and parents with teens who are starting to drive. The presentation is power point and lecture which will last about two hours.
This seminar is designed to alert drivers and potential drivers to dangers associated with operating a motor vehicle, normally not covered in driving manuals and classes.
These are some of the "real world" driving dangers, a step beyond shapes of roadway signs and the basics to pass a driving test.
When understood these tips could help reduce the likelihood of serious or fatal injuries occurring in a motor vehicle crash.
