Andrew Hutts, 26, and Sommer Ann Hattaway, 21, both of Farmerville, are being held in the Union Parish Detention Center with bonds set at $10,000 each.
Hutts was arrested on a warrant for violating a protective order Monday and while being patted down was found to have a Clonazepam pill in his possession. He was additionally charged with possession of a Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance. His bond on that charge was set at $3,000.
Hutts was spotted by a deputy walking in the lobby of the parish courthouse and was arrested across the street at a lawyer's office, deputies reported.
Hattaway had been arrested Feb. 21 after Hutts, who had apparently been injured, was found lying in a ditch along La. Hwy. 828.
An investigation revealed that Hutts' residence had been torn up and furniture burned in the front yard. It was learned that Hattaway had taken Hutts' vehicle and couldn't be found.
The pair had been arrested for domestic abuse battery Feb. 4 and had bonded out of jail Feb. 11 and ordered by the court not to come in contact with each other. They signed the papers, but it was learned they went back to living together the day they were released from jail.
