Tip Leads to Arrest and Drug Seizure

Detectives assigned to the West Monroe Police Departments Street Crimes Unit began investigating this incident. As the investigation unfolded, Yen Nhi Ngo, (AKA: Lisa Ngo) was identified as the suspect in this incident.

Investigators contacted Ngo at her home where during the course of their investigation approximately, 1.2 pounds of suspected high grade marijuana, Ecstasy, Amphetamines, $10,000.00 US Currency, along with other items of drug paraphernalia used in the distribution of marijuana which were located inside of her home. All of these items were seized by detectives.

Ngo, later contacted Investigators where she attempted to bribe investigators involved with this case.
On 02/27/2013 an arrest warrant was obtained for Ngo's arrest detailing multiple drug charges.

At approximately 1:30pm Ngo turned herself into the Detectives at the West Monroe Police Department without incident. She was booked into the West Monroe Correctional Center for the following charges;

Distribution of Marijuana, RS 40:966
Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, RS 40:979
Possession of Sch I (Ecstasy), RS 40:966;
Possession of Sch II (Amphetamine), RS 40:967;
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, RS 40:1023
Public Bribery, RS 14:118
Ngo, was subsequently transferred to the Ouachita Parrish Correctional Center where she is currently being held in lieu of $110,750.00 bond.
