Lawyers for Indicted Judge Asks for Trial Delay

Lawyers for a Ouachita County Judge accused of bribery is asking that his upcoming trial be delayed.
Judge James Hesterly and a second man, Harry Clemons, are both accused of bribery and conspiracy charges involving FEMA.
Their lawyers say they have not had enough time to properly prepare for the trial.
The U.S. Attorney assigned to the case is not objecting to the delay request.
The trial is currently set to begin on March 13, but they are asking that the trial not begin until after July 1.
