Monroe To Host Anti-Bullying and School Safety Program Monday

MONROE-WEST MONROE -- Louisiana State Conference on School Safety and Anti-Bullying is scheduled for Monday, March 4 at the Fort Miro Room of the Monroe Civic Center. This event is co-sponsored by Kelley & Associates, LLC and the City of Monroe. 

Special Guest Speaker for the event will be Dr. Ronald D. Stephens, Executive Director of the National School Safety Council. Dr. Stephens has served as a consultant and frequent speaker for school districts, law enforcement agencies, and other professional organizations.
"This conference is for principals, teachers, law enforcement officers, and anyone who will be called upon if a tragedy occurs in a local school," said Sharme Kelley, owner of Kelley & Associates, LLC. 
Additional topics include preparation, school safety procedures, and what to look for in a troubled student. 
Cost for attendance is $89 (includes lunch). Attendees may register on-line at www.kelleyassociates.webs.com. Pre-registration for this event is required.
