UPDATE: Arrests Made in Home Invasion Investigation

UPDATE March 13:

Deputies make an arrest in an armed home invasion last week in Ouachita Parish.

Dequonta Jefferson, 18, was booked into OCC in connection with the incident that happened in the 100 block of Raymond drive in Monroe Friday night.

Investigators say four men--three of them masked--made their way into the house and held three juveniles at gun point.

The intruders made off with cash, electronics and firearms.
  
Nobody was hurt during the invasion.
   
OPSO investigators say more arrests are expected.

Jefferson is charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated battery. His total bond is set at $185,000.

OPSO Investigators say they're continuing to follow up on leads in this home invasion.
It happened Friday night in the
100 Block of Raymond Drive in Monroe.

Saturday:
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred around 8 pm on Friday.

Multiple suspects forced entry into a residence in the 100 Block of Raymond Drive in Monroe.

Once inside the residence, the suspects removed cash, electronics, and a firearm. The suspects were armed and held juvenile victims at gunpoint.


Investigators are looking for four suspects that were dressed in sweatshirt type clothing.
