Bill Would Prohibit Smoking in Public Places in Arkansas

A bill is filed in the Arkansas Legislature that would ban smoking in all public places.
The bill was filed by State Rep. John Walker of Little Rock.
If approved, the bill prohibit smoking at the following locations:
Banks
Bars
Educational facilities
Health care facilities
Laundromats
Public transportation facilities
Reception areas
Restaurants
Retail stores
Shopping malls
Sports arenas
Theaters
Waiting rooms
