UNITED STATES -- Nissan is recalling five of its 2013 models in the U.S. due to problems with the front passenger seat airbag.
A malfunctioning sensor can permanently turn off the air bag.
Altimas, Leaf electric cars, Pathfinders, Sentra compacts and Infiniti JX35 SUVs may be affected by this malfunction.
Nissan says its dealers will inspect the sensors next month and will replace them free of charge if needed.
