Suspect Accused of Forging Checks

Monroe Police are currently investigating a forgery complaint where a suspect attempted to cash a forged check at a Regions bank located on Nth 18th St.
Bank employees found the check presented by Victor Campbell to be forged and called Monroe Police.
Campbell was taken into custody at the bank without incident.
This investigation is ongoing and may involve attempted forged checks at other bank locations.
